April 25, 2025

The Fannin County Development Authority has maintained a busy agenda in recent months and it has not gone unnoticed. Georgia Trend magazine, the only business publication that covers the entire state, highlighted some of the new initiatives being enacted by the Fannin County Development Authority in its most recent edition.
“It is good to know that people across the state have recogized some of the good things happening here,” said Erick Youngberg, executive director of the Fannin County Development Authority. “It is nice to be noticed.”
Georgia Trend’s April edition -- the 2025 Economic Yearbook – carries the theme, “From the Mountains to the Coast.” The article highlighted Fannin County’s commitment to steady, manageable growth. In addition to the development authority’s focus on creating new jobs for current and future residents, Youngberg affirmed the strength of Fannin County’s tourism-based economy.
“We have some exciting plans for 2025 and beyond,” Youngberg said in response to the article. “Stay tuned.”
