Blue Ridge ranks at the top of Southern Living’s “The South’s Best”

Blue Ridge reached a top spot once again on a Southern Living Magazine’s “best of” list, ranked #2 among the best small towns of Georgia in the magazine’s May 2024 edition featuring “The South’s Best” list, an annual ranking of the region’s various dining, music and quality of life categories.

Eric Youngberg, Fannin County Economic Development Director, noted, “Considering that Tybee Island on the southeast Georgia coast was named the top small town in the state, it is safe to proclaim Blue Ridge as the best small town in north Georgia.”

In 2022, Blue Ridge was ranked #3 “Best Mountain Town in the South” in the Southern Living listing, and was the top ranked mountain town in the state of Georgia.
