Local Business Owners Speak to Middle School STEM students about entreprenuership!

October 20, 2020

In the Fall of 2020, STEM teacher Ashley Jacobson and Executive Director of the Fannin County Development Authority, Christie Gribble, kicked off “Entrepreneurship Wednesdays” with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade STEM students.  Students have heard from businesses ranging from a cabin rental company to a craftsman fly-rod business.  Students are also working on their own business plans!  The goal is to show students that they have options locally to create their own jobs if they want.
