We are looking for a friendly, dependable and organized host/hostess to join our team! As this person you will be the first impression of the restaurant.  You will welcome guests,  take them to their tables and make reservations as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Greeting guests as they enter, and if necessary putting them on a waiting list via our reservation system.
  2. Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate.
  3. Seating guests at tables based on reservations or availability.
  4. Providing menus and answering any initial questions.
  5. Maintaining a consistent line of communication with the kitchen.
  6. Maintaining server rotation for equal cover counts.
  7. Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
  8. Answering phone calls, taking reservations, entering them into reservation system and answering questions
  9. A knowledge of the menu.
  10. Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
  11. Providing great customer service.
  12. Adhering to strict Covid sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

  1. Must be able to keep a cool head and thrive in a fast paced environment.
  2. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  3. Must be able to stand or move for the duration of the shift.
  4. Able to work the reservation system and maintain accurate information.
  5. Passion for providing extraordinary service.
  6. Able to work well as a team and individually.
  7. Restaurant experience a plus
